Hour 1 – Foundations & Framework

- How MOTAS prioritizes quality of life, relationships, and autonomy
Hour 2 – Kindness Method
- The Kindness Method:
- Kindness is the method, not the reward
- How compassion, attunement, and safety accelerate learning
- Shifting from compliance-based models to connection-based growth
- Understanding behavior through a trauma lens
- How stress, adversity, and unmet needs shape development
- Differentiating skill deficits from protective responses
- Using the Kindness Method
- Identifying strengths as anchors for healing
- Writing goals that build safety, agency, and resilience
- Case examples across ages (child, teen, adult)
- Interactive goal-writing and discussion
- Practical takeaways participants can use immediately in assessment, treatment planning, and daily practice
